Chapman Financial Services offers paid training to ensure that our employees have the knowledge required to support our collection staff.

Training consists of understanding the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, (The law that governs debt collectors.) our company policies and procedures, and the ability to use our software to complete your assigned tasks.

Primary Job Duties

  • Candidates will be required to answer calls using our multiline phone system and transfer the calls accordingly.
  • Greet both consumers and clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Data Entry

This is a Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm position and pays $2,100.00 per month

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
  • Investigate historical data for each debt or bill
  • Find and contact clients to ask about their overdue payments
  • Take actions to encourage timely debt payments
  • Process payments and refunds
  • Resolve billing and customer credit issues
  • Update account status records and collection efforts
  • Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status Excellent verbal communication
  • Active Listening
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Self-Motivated and goal driven.
  • Strong negotiation skills
